Dreyer's recalls Outshine fruit bars over possible glass - five flavors and the variety pack, check the batch code

Dreyer's recalled select Outshine Fruit Bars on August 18 because consumer reports found glass in the product. Affected: 6-count 2.5-ounce boxes of Strawberry, Watermelon, Grape, Tangerine and Black Cherry, plus the 24-count 2.5-ounce Variety Pack, sold nationwide. The affected batch codes are printed on the bottom of the packaging (for example LLA616903 through LLA621603, with best-before dates from 30 SEP 2027 to 30 NOV 2027; the FDA page carries the full table). No illnesses or injuries have been reported.

What it changes: a two-minute freezer check. If your box matches a listed batch code, dispose of it or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Only the listed lots are affected - no other Outshine products are part of this recall.
